Email notifications not working

Email notifications from the booking calendar are no longer being received by the administrator. When a test email is sent from within the plug-in then the error message is:
Email not sent
SMTP error
Recipient address rejected. Spam detected. Expiriy 08/21/2023
Note that this email address works fine when operated through third party mail clients and webmail
