    Hi,

For some reason the topic I created has been deleted ?? So I’m writing it again.

I have two Forminators forms on my website and neither are sending me email notifications. I tried resending them in the Forminator dashboard but I still don’t receive anything. I checked the settings and everything is ok, the email address is correct.

The messages sent through the contact form of my website (not a Forminator form) are being sent to my email address, so WordPress is working correctly.

    How can I fix this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I have installed the “Email Log” free WP plugin to see if emails are being sent and it says yes, the emails are sent. I just don’t receive anything.

So I have changed the destination email in each form and now the notifications are sent and received. The new destination email should also forward those notifications to my personal email address but that’s not the case. So it appears that the provider of my personal email address is rejecting the email notifications, not just tagging them as spam but outright rejecting them. I will get in touch with them and ask them to sort this asap.

I finally have figured it out and solved it.

I changed the “From Email” address in each form to a different one than the one to which the notifications are sent. And it works.

I guess my provider (Protonmail) was rejecting those notifications because it appeared that I was sending myself messages using another provider, which is impossible. They probably rejected those as fake/spoofed emails.

In case anyone else encounter this error, try this: WordPress > Forminator > Forms > Edit Form > Email Notifications > Edit > Advanced tab > From Email (enter an address different than the one receiving the notifications which is written in the Recipients tab).

    Hi @olbro

I hope you are doing well.

I am happy to hear it worked now,

Some providers will have more strict protection and can cause the email to be rejected, other than modifying the From email a good site to test the email is also https://www.mail-tester.com/
