Email notifications are not delivering

Hello,
I have the latest version installed of MyCred and I’ve created an email notification to welcome newly registered users. The settings have it being sent immediately on transfers to both user and admins, and say it’s active. What’s even more puzzling is that the log says they are being sent, but I am not seeing them to my users or admins. I have tried just doing user and vice versa just admins with no success. I have installed another plugin called email log and they are also saying emails are sent, but again I’m not seeing them. I have checked spam folders and junk with no success. It is even giving me an exact time these are being sent in the logs. any ideas? – I am using the SMTP plugin as well.
