    Hello,

    I previously asked a question regarding email requirements for anonymous users. Your answer worked great.

    However, it appears that users aren’t getting email notifications for new answers. In the setting, when I check New Answer Notifications (to Admin), I do get an email. But according to an email log plugin I installed, a copy doesn’t get sent to the original user who asked the question.

    Is it possible that the original user isn’t automatically getting added as a follower of the question? If so, is there an easy way to adjust the code so they’re a follower by default?

    Hi,
    Please accept my apology for the delay in getting back to you.
    I have checked on our demo and it still works fine. But, if you are asking when an anonymous user can not getting the notification. Currently, the plugin has some bug and it can not send an email to the anonymous user.
    We are checking and update this issue in the next version.

    Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

    If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

    Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
