  • Hi Turgeoncraig,

when you check that option on edit in admin panel, plugin sends email to user not to owner. This is how it works. You are telling that user don’t get that email ?

    Best regards,
    Nikola

Hey Nikola, thanks for the reply again, I’m using the plugin version 3.7 which is latest as far as I know. Latest version of WordPress as well. Also using “Madison – Custom” theme.

Also, to clarify (because I’m not sure I explained it well) the plugin works when I make an appointment, it also sends the initial emails out. But when I go to the appointments section to look at the pending appointment, I click on the notification checkbox and move the box from pending to confirmed, no emails are sent out to either my email or the client email.

    Hi Turgeoncraig,

I will double check that option for sending email in admin part of plugin, and let you know of the results. Maybe there is a some bug ??

    Best regards,
    Nikola

    Hi Turgeoncraig,

Nikola, it work’s great now. Thanks for the quick response and hard work. It’s a great plugin. Now when I click the notification check box and change the status from pending to confirmed, the confirmation email is sent to the person making the appointment. By the way, I tried about 5 plugins for this sort of thing before I found yours and none were very suitable. I am using it for a hairstylist’s website and she wanted to be able to have people make reservations, a lot of other appointment plugins didn’t have the right features needed for a hairstylist. I learned this the hard way after I already spent all the time configuring them then I learned there were features not available that I thought would be (such as email or updating the schedule after an appointment is made etc. I wish I found your plugin sooner. Thanks for the help! I’ll make sure I let everyone know where to find this plugin so they don’t waste their time on the other ones I tried first.

Hi Turgeoncraig thanks for that kind words. I have big plans for Easy Appointment so stay tuned for new version. Currently I am working on automated tests that will improve stability for new versions. This is mayor thing in order to avoid bugs like that one with notification email. Also I am planing to improve UX and add new features like cancellation of Appointment by link in email etc… And one more thing please consider supporting plugin by spreading the good word or small donation etc… ??

    Best regards,
    Nikola
