Email Notifications

The plugin automatically emails the schedule to every staff member and lets them know when they work.
I have 20+ employees with multiple locations and this function does not seem to be working. I created a user to test the function, as I suspected that it was not emailing a schedule to all employees.
The majority of our shifts are published as Open Shifts, to give the employees flexibility. To test the functionality, I used the same test account to pick up a shift, and then confirmed it as an administrator. The test account’s email address did receive an email with the subject line “Your Shift Posted”, but I am assuming that it was a specific email to the confirmed employee to notify them.
To continue testing the function I created a second shift and published it as an Open Shift, but I have yet to receive an email notifying me that there is a new shift available… Are Open Shifts excluded from the schedule email notification?
