    it tries to send emails by the built in PHP functions that should work in most cases. For a closer look, it’s required to have an FTP access to your site to find the reason for this issue.

    i am sorry but it is not possible as my site is in a private corp domain:\

    is there anything i can upload here instead for debugging?

    i can say that the built in PHP functions dont work because i couldnt get “forgot password” “New user welcome” emails. so i installed another plugin for emailing which doesnt use the built in functions and it works.
    There must be a problem with the built in php i guess
