    Hello,

    It does not appear that email notification events are triggered by manual administrator changes. For example, if the administrator promotes a user’s rank, it does not trigger the event to send email. I can understand why this may be the default setting, but I would like to be able to trigger this event sometimes. Could you please add a checkbox either in the user’s account edit page or on the email notification extension to allow this?

    Yes, I have it set to manual assignment, but I fail to see how this particular setting relates to triggering the email event (the setting only describes how ranks are assigned).

    As I stated above, when I manually set/change a user’s rank, it does not trigger the related email notification event. What else am I missing, or does the plugin not do this?

    Are you also using the myCred email plus plugin? Also, We have fixed the issue for ‘user is promoted to a higher rank’ and ‘user is demoted to a lower rank’ events which are in myCred core.

    I’m not sure exactly what you mean by “email plus plugin” here. Do you mean a premium add-on? I have enabled the “Email Notifications” Add-on within the myCred plug-in settings.

    Are you stating that you fixed the email notification trigger when a rank is manually changed by an administrator? If so, which version of myCred was this fixed in? I only see a change for “Duplicate email notifications” in version 2.4.4.

    Is myCred supposed to trigger the email event when a rank is manually changed? If so, I cannot get it to do so. All other email events I have enabled are working as intended.

    myCred is supposed to trigger the email event when a rank is manually changed in upcoming release of the plugin. We have added this functionality. Also, Yes, email plus is a premium addon.
