• Hi,

I saw that this plugin can Customize Member Notification Emails. My question is:

Do I need to do extra setting to receive “MEMBERSHIP PAYMENT FAILED” email notification? The reason is our payment gateway (Stripe) do not send us email notification if a person have fail recurring payment (ex: credit card expire). It is difficult to check one by one if they had paid successfully. Therefore I wondering when a member’s recurring payment has failed:

    1. Will I receive notification email (do I need to set up or it already embed in current setting)
    2. Will their membership deleted automatically from WordPress site or we need to do it manually?

    Thank you! ??

  • Hey Sherry,

    1. You should automatically receive any “payment faield” notifications.
    2. PMPro will notify the admin that the payment has failed, but it is up to the admin to cancel the membership. However, this can be changed with some custom code.

    Hope that clears things up!

    Thanks,
    Jess

Thank you so much! So I want to make sure the process:

When Stripe failed to collect a recurring payment from a user due to his credit card expire or canceled, I will receive a email notification about that specific user has a fail payment. Finally, I will need to decide if cancel his membership or send him remind email to update his billing info. Is above process correct? Thank! ??

No problem! Yes, that’s correct. ??
