    Hi,

I have looked at other threads for tips, but it seems I am missing something. I installed the plugin, set which categories or options I wanted the form to have, and put it in my sidebar. I’m not worried about customizing or anything else, I just need an option for users to submit urls. I have tried this at least a few times, all saying “success” on my submission.

I have also tried the “check email” plugin per recommendations, and there are no errors. I also have all other plugins on my site disabled, and still no email notification. Anything else I might be missing?

    Thanks for any tips

I use USP on several sites and the emails continue to send just fine. I recommend setting up a test default install of WordPress to verify functionality. That will tell you if the issue is related to something related to WordPress or if the issue lies somewhere else like the server or PHP configuration, etc.

    Hi,
Thanks for such a quick response. Sorry, but by “test default install” of WordPress, do you mean just set it back to the original default theme? Because as far as installation itself this was just a one-click install. I have only added some plugins (still deactivated) and that’s it so far.

    Thanks again

I actually mean install a fresh copy of WordPress that you have not modified in any way. Then test email sending and see if it works. If it does not, then the issue must be related to something on the server other than WordPress.

I will take a look on how to do that, thank you!

Just to follow-up with this thread, the latest version of the plugin (20150319) includes improved email headers for alerts, so should resolve any issues with sending email.
