    Greetings,

    When I place an order for a gift card to give to someone, I enter their email address, but I only get a receipt for the order, but the recipients of the gift don’t receive the email that they’ve got something.

    I have the email setup in the Shop Name. In fact, I have the BCC setting so the Admin should receive the email. I am Admin and it’s not coming through.

  • I installed the Postman SMTP plugin and it allowed me to diagnose the issue I was having of the customer not being emailed the code in the order completed email. I recommend anyone having this issue to install the Postman, make a test order and then check the Postman email logs to see if the email was sent or errors created.

    I have fixed the problem (related to a different plugin) and it is now working properly.

    By the way, Postman SMTP does not show any errors or any signs an email was attempted.
