email notification from gmail adress

  • Is there a way how to send a email notification(password) from my own gmail adress ?(I mean when you register at my website,email doesnt come)
    I use subdomain and my website email is not avaliable.So nobody can register because of not working email.Thanks

    Give this plugin a try.

    If you have a GMail account you can configure that plugin to use it for delivering email.

    how does it work? is it possible sending automatical emails with password to new registered users ?

    Many web hosts will not let you deliver mail via SMTP so what that plugin does is let you deliver email using GMail instead of the default mail handling system.

    I’m not sure as I’ve not had users register on my site before. If it was the mail delivery being blocked then that plugin (after it’s been configured) may get your email delivered.

    Hmm,I use Sidebar login plugin and when a user trying to sign up, the email with his password dont come. What can I do ? How can i set up the email from which will be the email sent ?
