I set up testimonial form for the first time on a client site yesterday. It shows up as pending in the dashboard but no email notification is received. From email was set as my admin email address and the TO: was set to send to her. I changed them to try again just now, no email yet, though it’s only been 10 minutes.

I know that in some cases, formmail gets hung up depending on server and special workarounds are needed.

Okay, never mind … I switched the notification email address to be the ones branded by the domain and the mails came through.

This has been hit and miss for me too, especially with Gmail. I need to add a function to send a test email.

My own web host said that they have protection in place to prevent mail being send via another email address from a website, in order to reduce spam.

So while I might like to have a gmail account in there because I check it more often or whatever, unless the sender is “@abc.com” for a form hosted on abc.com, the mail will be blocked.

This was happening for the Gravity form that I had set up on another site.

I have a form, made by html and php coding which have fourteen(14) fields. What i want is that when a user fill up the form and submit, all the field values will come to me and to the the user as a email notification.I have searched plugins for that but found nothing. Please help me.I am getting frustrated.

@ppd1986, I’ll be glad to help. This support issue is resolved so let’s move the conversation elsewhere so I gather more information. Please start a new topic on this forum or on my website at wpmission.com. Thanks ??
