[EMAIL NOTIFICATION] add state/county to shipping and billing address in email

As far as I’m aware, the entire billing / shipping address should be sent in the order notification emails. Are you looking to have a completely separate input field for that?

I’m just trying to have all the details of the customer from the billing/shipping address on the email. These fields are default of WooCommerce and I didn’t add anything.

That filter still exists: https://github.com/woothemes/woocommerce/blob/master/includes/class-wc-countries.php#L482

You should be able to use the filter in that other thread to get the country to show up in the emails when it is the same as your base country.

The country is now on the email for me. An other field that I need on the email is state/county, do you have an idea how to show it in the email?

Is the state/county set to be in the address format for your country? If not, you can use the filter to add it.

My base location is Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh and when we chose Vietnam as country, there will be a list drop down for state/county. This field is default of WooCommerce and I don’t know why it’s not on the email.

Looks like state is not included in the VN address format: https://github.com/woothemes/woocommerce/blob/master/includes/class-wc-countries.php#L443

You can change that using the woocommerce_localisation_address_formats filter though.
