I don’t think so. If there is a problem with email notification, other users must have reported it. Check your spam and make sure your buddypress notifications are working.

If you still have problem, just explain the steps you did to reproduce this bug.

Yes, all my other Buddypress notifications are working fine so I’m wondering if it may be a conflict with another plugin. I do use the “WP SMTP” plugin. Any issues here?

Step to reproduce the bug simply involve sending someone a compliment. The compliment gets sent successfully and the recipient does get a notification in the admin bar, however no email gets sent to them to let them know that someone has given them a compliment.

Hey namrons, Sorry I got email notification a week back. But i forgot to reply you.

The plugin uses bulit-in wp_mail function to send email. so maybe you should try this plugin instead.

@namrons, I have found that email bug recently. Looks like it does send notification. But only once. When the user send compliment to same user again its not triggering email notification. I have fixed that in 1.0.5. Please update your plugin.
