email notification

Log in to admin
Click on “Settings”
Click on “Discussion”
Select option under “email me whenever…”

What about getting an email alert as a registered viewer? For example if the admin posts a message and wants 32 ‘readers’ to get an email alert stating there has been a new post…is that possible and how do you set that up?
