Email notification

  • For some reason I can’t find a plug in which automatically sends an email-notification to all people who have responded to a post already once somebody posts a new comment.
    Say you have two comments on a post already and a third person makes a comment. On that moment, I want the first two persons to get a message automatically saying that a new comment has been made. In that way responders can follow the discussion without checking the blog all the time.
    Ofcourse I prefer a simple, stable plugin.
    Anybody with good experiences on this?

  • Tthis is a good question!!! How do we notify “subscribers” (Duh) of posts, comments, etc?? What’s a blog for anyway?

    First of all, quit spamming our forums. You don’t like WordPress. We get it. Nobody forced you to use this particular one of many blog/CMS platforms.

    Having said that, I searched Google for

    was the first result.

    Thanks anyway… it doesn’t work! I tried it a month ago. Nothing works with 2.5 and I’m not the only one who’s noticed that Email notification is broken.

    Why not email support and demand they fix it?!
    It’s simple and it would work if everyone would just do it!

    How can everyone just let this go?
