    Hi,

    I’m running KEY4CE 1.3.3 on WP 4.2.2 and OST 1.9.12.

Emails are for test purposes sent through gmail SMTp.

From the OST SCP it works fine, if I make a ticket in there I get an email.
Sending emails from wordpress I am using WordPress SMTP plugin with the same settings.
If a ticket is created or updated via wordpress Key4CE tere will be no email.

I’ve tried setting the SMTP settings to yes and no (and filled in the same details) but I won’t get anything.

    Any help please ??

    Hello,

Our plugin doesn’t use the wordpress smtp settings (it conflicted on the email from which WP kept overwriting before).

For our plugin make sure the smtp settings are filled in correct (with auth). and that your email templates in our plugin are configured aswell (else it can’t send emails neither).

    Regards,
    Marco

Does your plugin automatically go TLS or SSL?

Because for Gmail port 587 is TLS.

It works from the SCP in OSTicket.

I’ve disabled the WP Mailer plugin and it does not work, whatever I plug in to it.

    Yes and no,
PHP it self tries TLS / SSL automatically if you have php 5.6 or higher.

I believe php 5.5 and lower uses by default no encryption

I can check with my developer if we can implement a ssl / tls / none switch in the smtp settings instead for next release.

That would be great as it will fill the gaps.

Is there a way the plugin can let OSTicket handle emails?

And yep, we are running on a synology (its for intranet purposes) and DSM 5.2 runs PHP 5.5
