Email not working

  • Hi weather I am wanting to send emails or receive emails nothing is working. I don’t have an added plugin for emailing. When users fill out forms (example from contact 7) I am not getting the answers. When users forget their pw they are not getting a Recover pw email. When I sent out a mass email they never received them.

    I am not sure if I am sending from the right place, or what?

    i always used contact form 7 on my contact page and other tools but recently i found that their mail server is down and i don’t receive anything .. therefore , i used Jetpack Forms and they never fail to send my contacts to my email address ??

    What about as far as users not receiving emails from me I send them from WP?

    I did switch to jetpack…ty. Contact 7 as for me, is difficult and offers little support.

    If your WordPress is not sending you any emails, its possible that your host has disabled the PHP mail() function. Some hosts see it as a security risk. Either way if its not working you can try using smtp mail using a plugin. WP SMTP works for me but there are many others. You can send a test email to yourself within the plugin settings. Some people find smtp settings tricky but its worth persevering to get something that works.
