Email not sent for user activation on WP 3.0.1

  • With WP MU 2.X.X, we have an option of whether to send an email to users every time after they registered so that they can activate their accounts by replying to them.
    I don’t see any option like this in WP (MU merged) 3.0.1 and it does not send such an email at all as a default. How do I set it up so that every time after users registered, WP sends email for them to activate their accounts?

  • hi, i had similar insue…..

    and finally i had receiving all mail in the span box.

    so verify it before

    WPMU never gave an option to disable the activation email – not without plugins. 3.0 works the same way.

    If users aren’t getting the emails, it;s either landing in the spam folder or not being sent by the box you;re on. First check and make sure the emails were sent. (mail logs)
