email not sending to neither admin nor student

  • Hi,
    I’ve read through the whole support forum 45 pages of them and I couldn’t find the solution I’m looking for hence my question here. Found some similar area but no answer was given and whether the problem has been solved, i don’t know.

    Ok, mine was working everything fine. Then since last month one of my staff mentioned that we are not getting any notification email that someone has done the quiz. sending email stopped working.

    I think it was after the wordpress was last updated. Can anyone helped me please as to where i have to look for? I rolled back the backup since last working day and it worked again but I couldn’t leave it there since others have updated also. So after the update on WordPress has stuff up or this plug-in hasn’t updated to the latest one??

  • Same problem here! Anyone else had that experience? We are trying to debug it, but no luck so far… We went back to an older WordPress version where the mails should go out (we have a test install where it works), but the live site won’t allow mails to be sent.

    Downgrading to 4.4.5 fixed the issue. More recent downgrades may work a well.

    In our case however, the emails aren’t fixed and they aren’t being sent.

    Any help is appreciated!

    Try and fill those “From” box field with an email address rather than name.

    Ahh Theticus that did the trick! ive been fighting with this dang thing for such a long time now. such a simple solution.
