• My emails are not being sent out through the wordpress. I have spoken to my email provider (zoho) and they have me instructions below. Please help me! I have no idea what to do. This is happening for 2 domains – jackofallspades.ca and packnstackbins.ca

    This is what zoho said:

On analysis, we observe that the emails sent from your website email were considered as potential spoofed mails and were rejected by our Antispam filters.

To resolve this, please contact your website support and get their IP address or range from which emails are sent to your address. Please include it along with Zoho’s hostname in your existing SPF record for your domain.

Refer this help document for further details.(https://www.zoho.com/mail/help/adminconsole/spf-configuration.html#alink31)

Further, please contact your website support team and ask them to create a DKIM key for your domain and create it as a TXT record on your name server. This will ensure that proper DKIM signature is configured for the emails sent using your domain name. Once done, the emails will be delivered without any issues.`

  • Hello,

ZoHo is letting you know that you will need to create DNS records to help validate the email.

    >SPF Records is a type of DNS record published in the domain’s DNS that identifies the email servers that are permitted to send emails using the particular domain name. The main purpose of SPF records is to help the recipient email server identify the spam emails.

You’ll want to contact the hosting provider and get the IP address or range from which emails are sent. Then this information will be used to create or update the SPF record.

This may be done with the hosting provider or it may be done through the domain registrar, it’s whomever is hosting the DNS.

You may also check the hosting provider’s support articles for further info.

They told me to contact WordPress, which is why I sent this to you. So I should be going to my website host – cloudfare I think it is?

Cloudflare handles DNS and doesn’t provide any hosting that I know of.

These DNS records that ZoHo has mentioned to you would be created/updated within Cloudflare since Cloudflare is handling the DNS.

You would want to find the company that actually hosts the site, i.e. files and database.

Sorry I couldn’t provide anything further. Hope this helps.
