I’m looking for a plugin for several school website’s that meet’s the following criteria:

Visitors can subscribe via email to be sent an email from the site containing uploaded pdf newsletters as attachments to that email.

They must have the option of being able to subscribe to one or more of several subscribe lists (e.g. whole of school communications, year based communications and class based comms.).

This would not involve anything to do with blog post subscriptions, but receiving emails with pdf attachments, to cut down on school paper usage.

Appreciate any suggestions, commercial or free.

The best combination that I’ve found so far is using a commercial bulk email company, and a form plugin to set up the sign ups.

The ones that I’ve used, and can recommend becuase I know that they work well together, are using MailChimp for the email lists and sending. Then I use Gravity Forms with their MailChimp extension to have the sign up on my sites.

+1 for Mailchimp. It’s been working good for me so far.

A commercial option would be MyMail. I personally haven’t tried it, but from the description and feedback it looks good.

    Thanks Michael/Carlos

MailChimp was indeed the solution. Thanks to you both agreeing, I went straight for it and had it all in place and working within two hours.

Saved a lot of faffing around as we say in the UK.

    Appreciated
