    Hello,

My Hustle Dashboard reports that I have 21 Total conversions, the last one being in November. However my email lists only show 9 results with the last one being in August.

What’s up? Did I lose (12 of) them, or is my email list not working right?

    Please advise / Thanks,
    Mark

    Hi @freem33

    I hope you’re well today!

I’m afraid that at this point I can only suggest some possible reasons for this but was that Hustle module (popup or slide-in or embed that you’re using) configured from the beginning to add e-mails to the local e-mail list or was it set for sometime to use e.g. MailChimp instead or some other 3r-party integration?

Is there “Allow already subscribed user to submit the form” option enabled?

What about Viewer’s Privacy settigns in “Hustle -> Settings”, is “Submission Retention” set to “Forever” or to “Custom”?

Could you check those please and let us know?

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hi Adam,

Thanks for your response. Here’s my feedback to your questions:

    – Always set-up for local email list
    – The “Allow already subscribed user to submit the form” option is NOT enabled
    – Viewer’s Privacy settings –> “Submission Retention” set to FOREVER

Probably not what you were looking for…

Please advise as to ‘next steps’ to troubleshoot this issue.

    Thanks,

    Mark

    Hello @freem33,

    I trust you’re doing well!

Please let us know, are you using any Anti Spam plugin? Submissions could be possibly marked as spam and not showing up in the list.

Please try to submit a test email and see if it will be showing in the list.

    Please advise,

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

    Hi Nastia,

I have the Akismet plug-in for spam – That’s it.

    FYI – WRT Hustle… I have a Pop-Up and an Embed active.

I just did a test of the Pop-Up from a mobile device and it worked fine (counter went up on dashboard + was added to email list).

I also did a test of the Embed from a desktop… The dashboard counter has not increased yet, although it was added to the email list. Hhmmnnn… Another / different issue?

    Frustrating…

    Hi @freem33

Thanks for responses and sorry for keeping you waiting.

You mentioned earlier that the “Allow already subscribed user to submit the form” option is enabled and that can be one of the reasons for the difference between the number of conversions and number of actually subscribed e-mails.

Another option that’s also quite common and that I didn’t mention before (I’m sorry, somehow I missed that) can also be a CTA (call to action)_ button on the form. I see only one form – in popup – on the homepage so if that’s the one and it never used CTA button, that wouldn’t be an issue here but I thought I’ll mention it.

However, since you mentioned you also have embed on the site – where on the site can I find it (I’m sorry if I’m missing it)? Does it have tracking enabled? If you click on the “gear” icon next to the embed on embed’s list and then click on “Manage Tracking” option you’ll see that the tracking can be separately enabled for “inline”, “widget” and “shortcode” options so that’s worth checking – since counter didn’t move up.

    Best regards,
    Adam

    Thanks Adam,

FYI – I do not have a CTA button and the embed page is only accessible via social media links.

I’ve now enabled the embed’s inline tracking option…

OK, so while I find it hard to believe, I’m going to assume that the reason for the mismatch is the “Allow already subscribed user to submit the form” option setting and I’m going to move on with my life.

    Thanks again,

    Mark
