Email Links do not work for Login redirect

When using the “Login redirect” option, email links get broken.
If I have a hyperlink pointed to “/my-account/” it ends up serving a blank page after successfully logging in, with the following as a URL: https://www.url.com/my-account/?eswc_id=aaaac
If i refresh the page, it shows my-account successfully.Another issue is when clicking a link to pay_for_order for an order, after logging in, i get redirected to the homepage instead of the pay_for_order page.

is there a way to filter out the links that are external so they dont get redirected, or filter on key words like /my-account/ in the link or /order-pay/
