Email Link to Leave Review

    Is it possible to use the link you said there is a shortcode for, to email to clients to leave a review? Or is it only possible to send them to the web page first then request them to leave a review?

    I’d like to display the reviews on site but also send an email request to clients easily.

    @goviral This isn’t functionality that’s offered by the plugin. The plugin revolves around your Google Business data and focuses on reviews and the rating on their platform. Having an email link is unrelated.

    I would suggest just adding your own content after the shortcode with something like the following:

    <a href="mailto:[email protected]?subject=Email%20Testimonial%20for%20My%20Business" class="button">Email Your Review</a>

    You could edit this link to point to an internal page with some information and then show the same link for them to email you.

    It’s not something that I wish to add to this plugin because: email addresses listed on websites just get spammed; there’s no quality control and the reviews are not associated with a trusted third party.
