Email Link not working

I have put my email address unders Users and General. When I click on the Email link on the webpage, Outlook opens with the cursor in the empty address field and with the web address in the body of the message.
How do I get my email address to show up in outlook?
As you may have guessed, I’m new to WordPress and a bit of a non-techie!
