Email link generating warnings
-
On mobile and computer, clicking the email icon that links to my email is generating warnings. I am using Safari on mobile and Firefox on my laptop and they are both giving warnings about the “safety” of the link.
On mobile it says: “Possible Phishing Site: The website you are visiting has a user name or password in its address. This may be a ‘phishing’ website. These websites are designed to trick you into disclosing personal or financial information, usually by creating a copy of a legitimate website, such as a bank.”
On my computer it says: “You are about to log in to the site “berkeley.edu” with the username “myemailaddress”, but the website does not require authentication. This may be an attempt to trick you.”
Then when I dismiss the warning, it links to https://www.berkeley.edu instead of [email protected].I just have the plugin set up in the standard way and I am concerned that people will think I am doing something bad instead of being to email me. Is there a way to fix this?
