first off great plugin in i see many possibilities for it. But i seem to be noticing a problem that needs to be resolved or i will not be able to use this plugin. when i send out a test email of an invoice when i look in the inbox it says the email is from WordPress not my sites name. i have looked at the code and im no developer butt i could not see anything wrong to even make this happen. i also double checked to make sure all my general settings are correct and they are but still every invoice i send says from [email protected] insead of sales @ mysite.com .

one other question as i do like the way the invoices are created is there any update in the near future where paypal will be integrated so a client can click pay and pay their invoice. and the last thing i would love to see is the ability to have certain invoices be mailed out regular for clients with a subscription to a service.

    Hi truthutl

Glad to hear you like the plugin.

What your experiencing with the email is normal. Invoice king pro uses the built in WordPress mailer, which doesn’t give you the option to specify the from name and email. The email address you enter into the invoice king pro settings is for population of the invoice and to cc you a copy. With that in mind, I’m currently in the process of a major update, with the intention of creating “addon” plugins that will attach additional functionality to the general plugin. One of these adding will be an advanced emailing plugin that uses SMTP to send the invoices and give you the functionality your after, amungst other things.

Another addon plugin that will be available is recurring invoices, which will cover another function you mentioned. Regarding the paypal integration, I’m also considering doing an addon for this also.

All of these addons won’t be available at the same time however I will be working toward releasing these as quickly as possible. Keep an eye out on the website for the releases of the addons. They will also be available in your wordpress admin when released.

    Hi truthutl,

I have solved the email issue for you, however now as part of this plugin. What you described is the default action an email from wordpress would have (sent via the default address from the server). What you require is the email to be sent from an actual email address. This is solved by using SMTP to send all mail. I have released a new plugin, SMTP King Pro that will do what you need.

Also released with the latest version of the plugin is an add-on for recurring invoices which I’m sure you will find useful, please update your version of Invoice King Pro and check out the add-on list.

Paypal integration is one of the next add-ons that I will be building so please keep an eye out on that add-on list for that.
