  • @licoricetwist – your Mail(2) settings show that you are both sending to and cc’ing to [your-email]. ?
    ?
    ?`To: [first-name] [last-name] <[your-email]>
    ?(Additional Headers: cc: [your-email]`
    ?
?This could be causing this email to be seen as spam.
    ?
?Try going back to just To: [your-email] to see if this improves things.

Hi@buzztone – yes, I know. I did that in the hope that it would solve the problem (because it didn’t work when it wasn’t there, either).

But thanks for responding! ?? As it’s not working as it is, I could just go back to the other way anyway, as nothing is lost. Just for the sake of good practice.

Well, actually this *is not* “resolved” – still waiting for some help on making it work!

Finally resolved – here is some info for anyone searching for a fix:

    First worked through https://kb.cf7skins.com/contact-form-7-email-issues/.

Contacted my web host, who very helpfully
o checked that there were no issues from their perspective
o checked my WP installation and found that
    – I had wp-smtp installed and active
    – but it wasn’t correctly set up

I didn’t understand enough to make the right choices. But in case my set up works for you, here is a link to the screen:
