Email instead of username?

  • Hi,

    I’d like to allow my users to register using their email address (and using it as their username).

    How can I do this?

    Hello,

    Thanks for your email.

    By default UU will accept both, email or username to login.

    So.. if the user tries to log in by using the email then it should work.

    Thanks for your answer.

    Want I want to edit is the registration form. I don’t want users to have to enter a username. I just want them to enter their first name, last name, email address and password. That’s it.

    Is there a way to do that?

    Do you see a setting “Allow Email as User Name” in UU Settings tab?
