email in dashboard is getting changed

  • Hi all,
    In the last week, my wordpress email address is getting changed and I’m trying to figure out how.
    the email under Settings -> General -> Email Address (for notifications etc) is getting changed 1-2 times a week.

    – I have Sucuri and scan for malware and it finds nothing.
    – I check my admin login logs and there is no unknown IP addresses or suspicious login attempts.
    – Nothing else seems to be changed
    – I changed my admin password to a crazy long random character set
    – I have a Comodo SSL
    – I don’t have PHPMyAdmin
    – my site is on Digitalocean through Cloudways

    how can someone be changing this?
    Is there something else I should be looking at?
    can someone be getting into my database?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!
