Email formatting question

  • Hi Kodie,

    So I’ve got a question in regards to email formatting w/ the fields nested inside the repeater.

    It appears to me (through multiple entry tests and trying different fields and settings there in the form’s Notifications) that the only way to make any fields inside the repeater actually show up in notifications is to include the opening field for the repeater itself. If I try to use any fields inside the repeater by themselves (in the notification configuration), the email just comes in blank w/ no data displayed.

    So I guess in one sentence, is there a way to pull the data from individual fields in my notifications when using the repeater?

    (My particular site I’m working with at the moment has three fields in the repeater (in three columns, using GravityForms Ready CSS classes) and I’d like to attempt to make it output the data in similar columns in my notifications, if possible. Kind of like what the native List field does in GF, in how it styles to however many columns were specified.)

    Hey Matt, unfortunately at this time there isn’t a way to do that due to the way repeated field data is stored. I’m currently looking into a way to implement this in the next version.
