    Hi Mary, do you have any other plugin that might be interfering with Simple Membership? Is this the first time this has happened to you in this site?

    I was notified by PayPal that my IPN’s were bouncing. It turned out that there was a problem with my mail settings. My Systems Admin got that fixed. It started after that. Then I had to go to hospital for an operation and have been quite sick so haven’t dealt with it. In the meantime he says:

    1. The formatting symbols (such as new line of tab) could be ignored or missed
    2. Incorrect interpretation of text at receiver’s side.

    What you can do:

    1. Check the full mail headers for received mail at gmail – it should show you the source, how the text should look like and how it should be represented.
    2. Try the same mail at other provider (at outlook or icloud for instance) – it could be gmail related issue
    3. try adding and extra characters into template and check how it represented.
    4. Try adding formatting symbols (\n, \t) and check what changed

    I will close the ticket for now, since I am not able to pursue this right now. Thanks for your response.
