Email format

  • Hello There,
    First of all thanks for this superb plugin, It was working(sending html email using ur template) all ok on my site rezaur.net.
    just few days ago I set the name and email field on sender option page. Name and email works as expected but it’s not send a html email anymore. It’s send just text and not following ur plain text template too. I think it’s just ignoring template option.
    FYI I have updated it to latest 0.2.8 from 0.2.7 hoping it will resolve the issue, but see no good.
    I have tried, by setting the email and name option blank as default, even that also not working anymore.

    Hi Reza,

    The emails you get are probably not sent via wp_mail native WordPress function, which is required to get WP Better Emails working.

    Try a password reset email.

    Thanks for the response. Yes I’m using Mailgun to sent mail from WordPress. But the point is, I was using the same Mailgun when everything was working.

    I didn’t check every version of Mailgun plugin but it’s not the WP Better Emails update that broke your installation.

    From what I’ve check in their code, they override the wp_mail and don’t implement the hook that WP Better Emails uses to add the template.
