Email followers plug in help

  • Just moved to a new server. I had a number of followers/subscribers on wordpress.com. I installed the subscribe2 plug in and plan to manually upload my subscribers. Each subscriber is going to get a new email from my site saying “do you want to subscribe” to this. I find this so off putting since they already subscribed to me over at wordpress.com. is there an easier newsletter plug in that I can use so that it just imports my subscribers and sends out an email for every new post? Or is this the only way?

  • You could set up an account with Mailchimp instead and use their plugin. Once you’ve set up your account with them they allow you to upload names and emails from your database, so you wouldn’t have to contact them again.
