    Hello,

I noticed that when I fill out a form on page 1 and go to page 2, if I then go back to page 1 and change some values, then in the sent email I find many errors.

I’ve tried both the browser back button and the [previous “Go Back”] tag, and in both cases if I go back to change some values, then in the email compilation I get the field tags, and no longer the value entered in.

    Example:
    Form page 1
    [text name]

    [submit "Next step"]

If I type “Jon” in the name field and press submit, go to page 2, I notice the error and go back, change the name field, changing “Jon” to “John,” go ahead submit the form, in the email I see [name] and not “John.”

    Is this a bug?

    Thanks

    Hi,

A couple things that could be causing this:

    1. You’ll need to turn off caching for the pages with the contact form. Page caching can cause the form entries to not be passed on.
    2. Your form may be too long. The browser cookie can only hold so much data. You may need to get the Pro version. If the issue only happens when you go back to a previous page then this probably isn’t the case.
