I’m facing a problem with my website. When someone makes a purchase, an email is sent to the site administrator and an email to the customer with purchase and payment information.

Recently I realized that there were customers who were not receiving this email. The only thing that these customers have in common is that the email domain they enter when purchasing is gmail. I did several tests, with several domains, and concluded that the only one that doesn’t receive is gmail. Hotmail or icloud, for example, work without a problem.

On the server I have already checked the dns record, dkim, dmarc, spf, and everything is correctly configured, and there have been no recent changes. Furthermore, I deactivated all plugins (with the exception of Woommerce and Avada) I did a test and still the gmail addressess did not receive the email.

I have a plugin to check the logs when emails are sent which states that it was sent to both the client’s gmail address and the site administrator’s email. The administrator address always receives emails, the problem is exclusively related to gmail addresses.

Do you have any idea what could be causing this problem or what other alternatives I should try?

    Thank you.

Hello @mguilhonato hope your day is going well. About a year ago Google and Yahoo required all to be DMARC compliant by June 4th of this year or emails wouldn’t get to their customer base.

I can see that your domain is compliant and all green. So it may be an SMTP issue. This is a relay that helps ensure that the emails are being sent and without any issue of going into spam and what not.

You can find several SMTP apps in the repo or by googling WordPress SMTP and choosing one that works best for you. If you are using one and you can see the logs that might point you in the right direction of the issue.

Hey there, @mguilhonato! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

As mentioned this seems to be a STMP issue.

You can use a plugin such as WP Mail SMTP to solve this.

You can also check this guide for more info on this.

I hope this was clarifying. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help or if you have any questions.

    Have a wonderful day!

Good afternoon. Starting from Thu 05.09.24, emails about orders stopped coming to e-mail After specifying a different address, letters began to arrive, BUT NOT ALL of THEM Some of the letters did not arrive. I rolled back the site to 04.09.24 and changed the email again – the situation has not changed (some emails are coming, some are not) Why is this happening – everything worked perfectly until 05.09.24
