Email Customization

  • Hi there.

    I’ve been using your plugin form sometime ago and it only modifies the emails sent by WooCommerce. It turns out that I have a plugin to manage my vendors called “WC Marketplace” and every time an order is placed, my vendors receive an email that I need to customize, but your plugin does not do that.

    Is there any option that I can use to have your plugin modify these type of emails???

    I’ve looked into adding support for “WC Marketplace” but have not implemented.

    After some basic testing of the normal ways to integrate, like how we already do with other woocommerce extensions, I found too many things that were strange/non-standard about the setup of WC Marketplace emails.
    For example, they create their own footer template instead of using the woocommerce email footer template. I don’t know why? Perhaps there is a good reason. They don’t seem to be using the standard class for Woocommerce emails and instead have their own.

    I didn’t feel comfortable taking on the development and upkeep that would be necessary for overriding all of there email templates and manipulating how they are doing things.

    I hope to revist at some point.

    But any author of any plugin can contact me and I would be more than happy to work with them to add support for their plugin.

    I suggest you as a user contact the plugin authors and have them look to integrating with our plugin. Them wanting to work with me would help a lot in making it possible.

    Thank you for your information and I’m looking forward to find a solution for my issue.
    They say that I can modify the .php template by myself but I am not that advanced into coding.
