• A webdev blog has more than one author that posts their development. They would like to be notify if other team member respond to their post. But, as far as I know, this option (email me when someone comments) only apply to admin, how to set it up for others as well?

  • Shouldn’t be too hard. I’d personally achieve it through a hack in wp-comments-post.php, but this assumes you’re not moderating comments?
Less complicated if you want the post author to be notified of any comment on their post. A little more complicated if you only want it to be when comments are left by registered users.
Do you perform any kind of post moderation?

I have this same issue. Is there a plug in or something? I also tried the “Subscribe to comments” plug in, but it didn’t seem to work–as in when I tested it to see if it a notification was sent, none was.
I am managing a blog with 19 authors and would like it if they could get notified when someone commented on an entry they authored. The ability to subscribe to comments (for general visitors) would also be nice.
    Thanks!

I figured out the “Subscribe to comments” thing. It doesn’t notify you if the next comment is from the same email addy–too smart for me. ?? Also found the newer version–much easier install.
I’m still interested in the multi author thing if anyone has a solution. ??
    Thanks!
