Email checkboxes smart tag formating

    I have searched everywhere, and I can’t find a solution. Basically, I have a checkbox field on my form, and on the email, when I pull that data using a smart tag (example {field_id=”10″}) the checkbox options (if more than 1 selected) appear all in-line and I can’t find a way to insert a line break after each choice, is there any way to achieve this?

    This was a known bug, but we released WPForms 1.8.6.2, and the issue was solved.

    When you get a chance, please update WPForms, clear your site cache, and the issue should not happen again.

    i have updated the plugin to the latest version and still getting the checkboxes inline on the email notifications.

    Thanks for letting me know!

    However, I was unable to reproduce the issue using WPForms 1.8.6.2, as you can see in this screencast.

    To troubleshoot the issue, I would need:

    1) The details on WPForms ? Tools ? System Info

    2) Also, create a simple test form with a Checkboxes field, and configure it to send form notification emails to the person who filled out the form. In case it helps, you can get details on how to do this in our article here. Then, add the form to a test page and share the URL.

    That way, I will be able to receive a notification and verify the code to try to understand why the issue continues for you even with WPForms 1.8.6.2.
