Email Being Imported With Multiple Empty ” ” Lines

As the title indicates, emails are being imported with multiple empty lines that are comprised of the empty in between paragraphs.
I am using the Postie Clean HTML Paid Add-on and have the boxes selected for “Remove Empty” and “Remove Empty Remove Nbsp”. Even still, emails are imported with multiple empty lines.
Is there something that can be done or modified to the import process to ensure these are removed when being parsed for posting?
