Hi, has anyone ever had this issue and know how to fix it?

Wordfence is set (in ‘All Options’) to send alerts to me, however the alerts are also being sent to the other administrators of the website. I am the web developer and they are the client. Not the end of the world that they receive the alerts, but it freaks them out and then they contact me.

I thought that the Wordfence setting would ONLY send to the emails specified.
Running WordPress 5.8 and latest Wordfence version.
    Thanks
    Nicola

    Hi @webcoast

Do you have a staging or development site where the emails for the other admins are still added to the plugin option Where to email alerts?

If you have a wordfence.com account, and you have added this site to the Wordfence Central tool, have you checked to see if you have those additional admin email addresses added to the list of emails for alerts sent by Wordfence Central?

    Thanks for your reply @wfphil
Nope, the site was not developed in a staging environment, and there is no copy of the site running elsewhere.

I added the site to Wordfence Central, in the Global Configuration for the site on Wordfence Central “Where to send email alerts” field, there is only my own email address. Is this the field you meant?

    Regards
    Nicola

    Hi Nicola

    Thank you for the update.

In the General Wordfence Options section on the All Options page, remove your email address from the option Where to email alerts.

    Press the SAVE CHANGES button.

Now add your email address back to the option Where to email alerts.

let me know if that fixes it.
