• After working with this plugin for weeks, this is the only problem I have encountered. I am pretty thorough so unless I am missing something, I think there might be a bug here. This is a pretty awesome plugin. I like it a lot.

I wanted to be able to display the email on the account page, but make it non editable. There is no lock down capability for the account page. Either the email is visible and editable or invisible and therefore not editable.

It is important that the email does not change, as it is used to link another platform, but it is important to display the email for the user to make sure which email is being used.

I elected to make it invisible on the account page.

I then went to the Profile Form and added the email field there. At first I made it non editable, expecting to see it as I have with other non editable fields.

No matter what I do, I cannot get the email field to show on the profile form. I have selected View Everywhere.

I have checked my Roles. I made it visible on the Account Page. It will not even show if the User is the Administrator let alone any general Users.

Appreciate any guidance on this issue.

    Hi @mokana,

Please go to the Ultimate member -> Settings -> General -> Account and uncheck “Allow users to change e-mail”.

    Regards.

I think you missed the part above where I stated that this is what I did. That it makes the email invisible on the account page. It is either visible and you can change it or invisible and you cannot.

However, no matter what setting I select, it will not show on the profile edit page. I have many fields on this edit page, and the email field is the only one that will not show no matter whether the Ultimate member -> Settings -> General -> Account and uncheck “Allow users to change e-mail” is selected to not.

    Hi @mokana,

I’m afraid, the email address can be only edited on the Account page.

    Regards.
