    I worked around the issue by escaping the email address being returned in the url – using uri_escape in my Perl script.

    Thanks for the heads up on this, Will. It should work just fine. I’ve tested on this end and passing in an email address with an @ shows up correctly. Might you have another plugin that’s processing your page output?
