Email about activation

Hi I have two types of users on my site. One registers as a Wholesale account the other as retail.
When a retail user registers, they get an automated email welcoming them with their username and password, we want them to logon to verify their account before they can proceed.
The other user is Wholesale. Theses users register for an account with a contact form. Once we have agreed their credentials and are happy they are whole sale, we want to sent them the same email with their username and password an a activation code.
Can you provide this service if not do you know a plugin that will do this
