Email a post

I think so. It allows you to email the post? I just tried to install and I got this error:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Widget’ not found in /vservers/annice/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/wp-email/wp-email.php on line 1312

Any ideas about how to fix the error? Appreciate the plugin by the way.

Just installed and activated that plugin with no problem. Might delete the plugins/wp-email folder then reinstall.

Sculley: You need to be using WP2.8 onwards.

I was using 2.8 and upgraded to 2.9 and it worked! Now, how do I set up the plugin? I don’t get it…..sorry!

Thank you – the tabs! Found and followed instructions. I partially got it. The “Email This Post” shows up for the posts on the pages and for the page itself, but it won’t show up on the pages that are “categories”. Here’s the site. The top nav links (except Home and About) are categories (not sure if that has anything to do with it).

I had put it in the index.php file like instructed, but I added it to single.php and that seems to work for all posts at the end now. Just need to add it for pages now…I deleted the code from the index.php. I guess I could add the [Email Link] code to each page but it would be nice if it did it automatically each time I create a new page.

If you need it for pages only, put it in page.php or if you want it to appear in single post only put it in single.php.
