    Hello together,
I have the problem that a translation-plugin fetches all strings on the page and it seems that sydney encodes the mailadress from the footer like the following:
    a href=”mailto:info&#64….
So I’ve seen in the database of the translationplugin that there are many different entries of that “encoded” mailadress in different versions and so the database is growing.

Now my question: is it possible to stop that mailto-encoding to change? Or how is it dealt with?

    Best regards!

Hello Kharis, I’ve inserted the pagelink above. Thank you very much!

    Hi,

I can confirm that there is no issue to fix on the email line. The mailto-encoding is the output of antispambot function that wraps the email field to block spam bots.

You should consult with your translation plugin’s author, in case (if you feel) that function causes improper translation specifically to email string. As I am not sure it is an issue with Sydney theme.

    Hi Kharis,
I now found a way to block that sector from being crawled by the translation-plugin ?? so now it’s all fine!
    Thank you for your effort!
