    Hi there,

Thank you for creating this great plugin.
I need to add a link to “Attending Events” in the Menu.
In case we have a short-code to em-my-bookings. I will make a new page with that short-code and I will link to that page. I would be great if you can help me figure it out.

P.S. I have have tried using #_BOOKINGLISTURL in booking confirmation Email and it is working; but I need the link in Menu instead.

    Thank you,
    Sara

  • Dear Sara,

To do the trick, I done this on my website.
I use the plugin Theme My Login (TML) plugin for user to be able to login.
This plugin can redirect user, (I choose SUBSCRIBERS) to go to the Calendar’s page and when they click the logout link in the menu, they are redirected to a page called see-you. In this see-you page, I have created only a byebye message.
Then, in WordPress Menu I added the page called My Bookings.
You can find this page under PAGES view all EVENTS My Bookings.
This way on My Bookings page, user can view the events that they booked and can cancel their venue on any event.
    I hope this will help

    Kind regards,
    Remi

    Hi Sara,

Can explain a bit more about what you want to do? I’m not sure I follow 100%, Thanks.

    Hi @caimin_nwl,

Thanks for your reply and I’m sorry for not being clear enough. I need to add a navigation menu item that links to “my bookings” page, so the users can navigate to bookings page from the navigation menu.

The problem is the url of “my bookings” page is not static and depends on the username
/members/username/events/attending/ so I don’t know how to link into that page.

It would be easy if there is a short-code to [em-my-bookings] so I can use the shortcode in a new page and use the static URL of that page for the menu item.

    All the Best,
    Sara

    Hi Remi( @virada ),

Thank you very much for your reply. My problem is there is no static URL that I can link to. I don’t know how using “Theme My Login” can help me.

In Menu, I can not find “EVENTS-My Bookings” under PAGES–view all. because there is currently no pages for My Bookings.

It would be great if you can provide some more info about it.

    All the Best,
    Sara

    Dear Sara,

You need to add the option BOOKINGS in Events Manager, see here:
    Events Manager Booking options

Then you will find in MENU VIEW ALL, the link called MY BOOKING, see here:
    MENU VIEW ALL MY BOOKINGS

Regarding TML (Theme My Login) is to help the customers to log in in the frontend, not the backend of WordPress.
TML, create a link called LOGIN in the MENU.
    TML OPTIONS:
in GENERAL first you enable “Enable Custom Redirection”.
Then in REDIRECTION, I only redirect USERS (subscribers) to a LOGIN page. For me it is a calendar. And the LOGOUT page is a simple page to say goodbye!!!
The nice thing about TML is when the customer click on LOGIN link in the MENU, this LINK changes to LOGOUT.

If you need any help, you are welcome.
I help you because the EVENTS MANAGER team is so quick to answer all my queries.

    Kind regards,
    Remi

    Hi Remi( @virada ),

Thank you again for your careful reply. I have tried changing my options in BOOKINGS tab in Events Manager like your settings But I still can not see “My Bookings” in Menu.
    Menu
Maybe because I have BP installed. In the following image you can see that I can add events to Menu but not events/attending/
    Bp Menu

    All the Best,
    Sara
