• This may be a faq, but I haven’t been able to find any good answers, or maybe I’m just missing the obvious. I want to completely eliminate the ability to post anonymous comments, anywhere on a multi-author blog. Comments should only be postable by someone who’s registered and logged-in. This also implies that comment posters shouldn’t have to enter their name or email address when they post a comment, since they’re already logged in.
Can this be achieved without too much hacking? Any tips or pointers much appreciated.

  • It might be very easy with a plugin using Hooks for Actions, although I’m not exactly sure how they work. :-\
And what exactly do you mean by “anonymous?” They must enter a name, email, or even register?

Thanks, I’ll check out the Hooks for Actions.

I mean that to be allowed to post a comment, the poster should be a registered user who has already logged in.
